Rev. A. Don, who has been labouring under the auspices of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand amongst the Chinese of this coast for the last 12 months, leaves on his return to Dunedin to-day, accompanied by Mrs Don and family. Speaking at St. Andrew's Church on Sunday morning the Rev. Don made special reference to the beauties of Palmerston. He said the Square gardens were delightful, and far better than anything to be found in Dunedin. The avenue of trees in Fitzherbert street he also considered the finest he had seen in New Zealand.
