STOCK REPORT N.Z, Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report: —At Rangiotu on Monday a fair entry of sheep and a heavy yarding of cattle came forward. Competition was keen in all lines resulting in every pen being sold under the hammer at prices in favour of vendors. Quotations: Sheep Woolly lambs Bs, shorn lambs Bs. Cattle —Weaners (small) 13s 6d to 15s, weaner heifers 22s to 275, weaner steers (good) 355, store cows £2 Is, £2 5s to £2 12s, and up to £3, forward cows, £3 8s 6s. £3 13s to £4 9s and up to £4 cows £5 2s to £5 19s 6d, heifers in calf £5 Is, dairy heifers £3 8s 6d, 18-months bulls £2 15s, heavy bulls £4 10s, £5" 7s 6d to £6 and up to £7.
