ALLEGED ATTEMPTED MURDER

HAVELOCK GREEN AGAIN REMANDED. Press Association.—By Telegraph. DUNEDIN, March 30. George Havelock Green, on remand was charged in the Police Court this morning -with, on 22nd inst at Sawyer's Bay, attempting to commit murder by discharging a revolver at his wife, Eleanor Maud Green. Chief-Detective Herbert asked for a remand for eight days. He did not anticipate going on with the case then as the woman was not likely to be able to leave the hospital for some time.

Mr Irwin, for accused, offered no objection to the remand. He understood Mrs Green's jaw was broken.* That had only been discovered since accused was last before the Court. Accused was remanded until Wednesday week.
