Dalgety and Company, Limited, have just received the following cable message from their London office:— "London sheepskin sales: Merino prices farthing higher; crossbred farthing to'halfpeqpy higher." STOCK REPORTS: N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd.,. report: —At Palmerston on Thursday we had a good entry of sheep and cattle. There was a good demand and very little went out unsold. Quotations: —Sheep—Forward shorn lambs 12s 7d, woolly lambs 12s, small lambs 6s to 7s, s.m. ewes 10s 9d to 12s 2d, B.L. rams l%gns to 2gns. Cattle—Weaners (small) 19s, medium weaners 25s to 30s, weaner steers 38s, weaner heifers (good) £2 Is, aged cows 30s to 395, loto condition cows £2 6s to £2 12s 6d, forward cows £4 15s, fat cows £6, bulls £4 12s 6d to £5 ss.

N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report: —At Apiti on Tuesday we had a good ehtry of sheep and cattle. Competition was not so keen as at recent sales and several pe«s wei\t out unsold.
