A POLICEMAN BEATEN

"Jimmy" Clabby, the well-known middle-weight pugilist, and his trainer (Arthur McQueen) have both been sentenced to three years' imprisonment for beating a policeman in a street fight./ The sentences will be suspended if the accused pay the policeman £2OO, with a guarantee to be of good conduct. _• •
