I The a nnuai meeting of afcove was held at the High School wsi Tuesday evening. The annual report and balance sheet were read, and adopted. The election of officers resulted:— President, Miss Ironside (re-eleeled); vice-presidents, Mrs Vernon (re-eiect- | ed), Airs Brennand, Miss. Arnott (reI elected) and Miss Park; committee, i Misses West, Collinson, Buchanan, [ Billons (all re-elected), Kerslake, j I Permain and Fairbrother; general i lion, secretary and treasurer. Miss E. Koehler (re-elected) ; Wellington I representative, Miss K. Buchanan. The resignation of Miss N. West, as secretary of the Tennis Club, was accepted with regret. Advantage was taken by the President to present the prizes won by Misses E. Fairbrother and D. Wilson at the recent High School swimming sports. Business concluded, a social evening was held, the occasion being a kitchen tea given in honour of Miss N. West. The 'numerous gifts were well chosen, representing an almost complete array of kitchen utensils. The secretary, on behalf of her fellow-members, wished Miss West all happiness in her married life, those present singing "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow." Miss West, in a short speech, thanked the Old Girls for their gifts and good wishes, and the evening concluded with an enjoyable supper provided by the members.
