THE SAVILLE CUP. Press Association —By Telegraph CHRISTCHURCH, March 23. Play for the Saville Cup began at Hagley Park to-day. There was a large attendance. The weather, though dull and misty, was fine and the playing ground was in excellent condition. The competition was under the general supervision of Mr E. Levin, secretary of the N.Z. Polo Association. Results:— Hawarden 19 beat Rangiora 3. Hawke 'a Bay 10 beat Pareora 4. Poverty Bay 4 beat Hawke's Bay A 1.
