AVIATOR SCOTLAND

A HOSTILE DEMONSTRATION. Press Association —By Telegraph. WELLINGTON, March 23. Aviator Scotland was unfortunate again this evening, his intended flight being abandoned on account of a gusty wind and threatening heavy rain which later fell in torrents. On Saturday when it was announced he would not fly some of the crowd became demonstrative and gathered round the machine in a threatening manner but the police intervened and dispersed the crowd. Some hustling took place, however, in course of which Sergeant Murphy had his wrist broken.
