The final between Canterbury and Wairaraca was pr doctive of fine hookey an i roased the spectators to enthusiasm. The game was exciting Wairarapa scored first an J soon after Canterbury eqnalised matters. Wairarapa then kept up t»e pressure and sent in shot after shot. At half time they were til, aod in t e second half thay placed another in t e net.
