The season during which all NewZealand oysters may be sold will terminate at the end of next month, 81st October. The idauraki Gulf beds have been closed, and the supplies are now being obtained from the Bay of Islands. The season si far has been one of the best yet experienced, The quality of the Stewart Island and Auckland rock oysters has been excellent, and the supply has been more than equal to the demand.
