PACIFIC CABLE BOARD.
STAFF MATTERS. Times.—Sydney Sun Special. Received 7.10 p.m. London, Sept. 15. The Pacific Oahle Boar J is not appointing a manager, but has promoted the accountant to the position of saoretary, believing the administration in London is purely clerical. Mr Milward will return to Australia. The Boarl entertains little hopes of laying a British cable in the Atlantic.
