HOW MUCH STORAGE?

(Prow Association.—By Telegraph. Wellington, April 17.

In consequence of the statement attributed to Mr Lysnar at Invercargill to the effect that Avonsmouth (Bristol) now had accommodation in its refrigerating stores for 200,000 carcases, Mr W. G. Foster, chairman of the North Island, cabled for information.

He has now received a reply that the original capacity was 22,000. In 1904 23,000 was added and last month 35,000, making the stores capable of accommodating in all 80,000 carcases.
