N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency 00., Ltd., report:—At Rongotea on Wednesday we had a moderate entry of sheep and cattle and have to report a total clearance at ruling rates. Quotations:— Sheep—Lambs, 7s; cull ewes, 3s; store ewes,. 6s; forward ewes, 9s. Cattle: Small weaners, 15s to 19s; medium weaners, 20s 6d to 27s 6d; stores £2 4s to £2 8s; forward cows, £3 2s 6d to £3 19s; fat and forward cows, £4 7s; cows in calf, £4 ssto £4 10s. Pigs: Weaners, JOHNSONVILLE STOCK SALE. (Special to Times). / Johnsonville, Last Night. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows:—A good yarding of bullocks and a medium one of sheep came forward and sold well at late rates. Quotations Fine heavy bullocks, £ll to £ll 2s 6d; prime bullocks, £9 15s to £10; lighter, £9 2s 6d to £9 7s 6d; vealers, 31s to 37s 6d; extra prime ewes, 16s lid to 17s Id; good ewes, 15s t« 15s 6d; plain, 14s to 14s 6d; medium wethers, 17s 2d; plain, 15s 6d to 15s 8d; prime lambs, 14s to 14s 4d; medium lambs, 12s 6d to 13s 6d. The New Zealand exports for twelve months ended 31st March last totalled £20,580.109, as against £17,608,470 for the previous twelve months. Increases were recorded in tho following articles, the figures for previous year being given in parenthesis: —Butter, £2,058,683, (£1,776,440); cheese, £1,859,179 (£1,297,088; frozen beef, £324,578 (£250,304); frozen mutton carcases, £1,500,728 (£1,151,439); frozen lambs, £1,825,342, (£1,750,236); oats £468,880 (£37,502) ;potatoes, £150,601 (£6,439); hemp, £483,353 (£310,884); tow, £1,005 (£23,289); kauri gum, £430,200 (£368,228); grain and puJse, other than wheat and oats, £163,008 (£101,861); hops, £20,698 (£11,594); hides, £234,735 (£159,835); wool, £8,065,351 (£(5,579,074). The following showed a decrease. —Frozen mutton, legs and pieces, £43,522 (£46,155); wheat, £95,414 (£197,623); rabbits, £50,851(£78,041); gold, £1,305,217 (£1,747,877). WELLINGTON SHARE MARKET.
