The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report At Feilding we had a heavy yarding of sheep and have to leport a complete clearance of all lines, and a good all-round advance in price. A small entry of cat tie came forward, all of which sold. We quote: —Cull lambs 2s 5d to 5s Id, store lambs 7s Id to 8s 3d, forward lambs 9s, Romney ewe lambs good lis 6d, black face rape lambs 10s Bd, 2th ewes small 10s lid to lis Bd, 2th black face ewes 12s 2d, 2th ewes, good, 13s lid, Romney 2th ewes, on account of Mr William Gibson, of Kiwitea, 19s, store ewes 7s to 9s Id, forward ewes lis 10d, fat ewes 14s Bd, mixed aged ewes lis Bd, store wethers 13s 2d to 14s, forward wethers 15s, rams 10s to 14s. Cattle, mixed weaners, small, 20s, weaners 25s to 275, weaner bulls 28s to £2, store cows £2 10s, Jersey heifers £6. At Rangiwahia on Tuesday we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. Sheep met with a ready sale at improved prices, cattle also selling well. WOOL, SKIN, HIDE AND TAL-

LOW SALE.

N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report as follows:—We oifered a catalogue of about 30 bales and a number of bags of wool, also good catalogues of sheepskins, hides, and sundries. There was a large attendance of buyers from various parts of tfce Dominion. Competition was keen for everything and prices equal to last sales, with skins perhaps a shade firmer. The wool offered consisted mostly of stragglers fleece with a few lots of late shorn lambs. We quote : Wool—Lambs wool medium to 1034 d, lambs wool, coarse and dingy 8d to 9d, lambs wool, seedy to crossbred fleece, medium Blifd8 l ifd to 9 3 4 d, crossbred coarse and s edy to pieces and belles 5%d to locks and pieces 4> 2 d to s^d. Skins —Merino and fine crossbred B%d to 9 crossbred medium B%d to crossbred coarse t° Bd, lambs 7d to 7%d, broken and dead 5d to pelts 6)£d to 7}^d. Hides—Ox medium B%d to ox lignt 7%d to cow 8d to B%d, damaged hides 6%d to Bd, calf best ll>£d to calf medium 9d to lOd, calf damaged sj£d to B%d, yearlings 7d to B^d. Tallow in casks 26s 6d, to 28s 3d per cwt. Fat 20s to 22s 6d per cwt. \
