Five divisions of Turks at Ohataldja with artillery and cavalry attempted to advance, supported by warships but were routed with heavy loss. Two battalions were isolated and driven to the shore, where, a portion escaped to the ships.

The Reichspost reports the eight Italian nuns acting as nurses were killed and several wounded in the Skutari bombardment.
