PERSONAL.
Rev. H. G. Rosher left Palmerstou yesterday for Auckland, where, by invitation of the Bishop of Auckland, he will conduct for a week the daily services which are held for men only in the Chamber of Commerce. It is stated that the Rev. Klindgender, formerly of St. Peter's Church, Palmerston, has been appointed to take the place of the Rev. Tomas, who is leaving Mangaweka. Mr F. D. Clayton, who lie.;; been promoted from tlieFeilding branchjjof Bank of New Zealand to Melbourne, leaves to-day for his new home. Mrs W. Coombs, of Teatherston Street East, and Miss Alice Coombs leave Palmerston on Thursday on an extended tour abroad. During her travels Mrs Coombs intends visiting China, Japan, America, Eugland and the Continent, returning to New Zealand on the first week in December next.
