BUSH FIRES.
Press Afsn—By Telegraph—Copyn-xm Received 10. 10 p.m. Melbourne ,Feb. 7. A bush fire devastated a village settlement at Monbulk and destroyed 15 houses. The Mechanics' Institute State School was damaged with others. The Beaconsfiold ranges were swept and local adjacent farmers suffered. Fires also occurred at Willowgrove. Foster, Wallhalla. and MafTra.
