A RUMOUR DENIED. (Press Association.—By Telegraph. Wellington, Last Night. General God ley leaves shortly on a visit to England to attend the British Army manoeuvres and confer with officersK'ommanding the defence forces of the various Dominions and with the Imperial authorities with a view to facilitating co-ordina-tion in training and administrative control of the Empire's defence forces.
The Post authoritatively denies a inaiour that General Godley intends to resign the position of Commandant.
