Wellington, Last Night. A Melbourne cable message received this morning from the Head office states that the Marconi Co. has brought to a successful conclusion its action in the French Courts against the Compagnie Generale Radio Telegraphique and the Societe Francaise dio Electrique and others for infringement of the Marconi's "Master Tuning" patent. The Marconi patent was declared valid by the courts and an injunction was granted against the defendants. The courts also ordered that defendants' apparatus be confiscated and that they pay damages and costs. The subject of the action was the French equivalent of the English " Four sevens," a Marconi patent which was upheld and declared valid by the High Court in England. It was also the subject of a successful action by the Marconi Co. in America.
