ENTERTAINMENTS.
FULLER'S PICTURES. A good prelude for to-morrow'ff Sabbath will bo the superb views of "Palestine" at His Majestys Theatre to-night. It is difficult to criticise these Biblical scenics without experiencing the softening effect that an interest in all that pertains to the Christian life always imparts. Even on the scenic standpoint alone they are excellent. The thrilling battle of the Indians will be sure to throw the boys at ! to-day"s matinee into paroxysms of excitement. The story that dwells beneath all the bustle of it is about a lonely trapper who sees, loves and covets a young squaw. She is forbidden him unless he chooses to join the tribe. He prefers, however, to remain a white man. When the fight comes, however, he gives assistance that wins him his reward. Tonight will witness the last appearance of this very fine programme. OPERA HOUSE PICURES RESUME. After an interval, due to the Opera House being engaged for other purposes, the Opera House Pictures will resume this evening, when a complete change will be presented. An attractive programme is promised. The chief picture play will be a Bison film depicting "Black Sakes Treachery,'' an exciting Indian study, inchiding some remarkably fine photography. "Lady Majesen" is the leading scenic, and there are good supporting films. The picture going public will welcome the continuance of the Opera House programme, as they have been steadily increasing in favour. There will be a matinee this afternoon.
