SWEET PEA SHOW.

TO-DAY'S EXHIBITION. Palmers ton is to have for two daysthe annual exhibition of the National Sweet Pea Society. The display is to lie opened in t he - A. and P. Produce Hall. Cuba street, this afternoon, and ii the increase in entries is any criterion, the show should be the best yet held. Exhibitors are coming from north and south. Growers from every province in the North Island will meet and strive to win at least one of the several handsome and valuable silver cups which the Society lias for competition. The ladies are showing a manifest interest in the decorative section, whietli is largely entered in. Over twenty decorated tables will be shown. There should be a large attendance to-day.
