We intarviewed iSogiueer Metropolitan Board of Worts, London, and was informed that no decision re efficiency would bo arrived at for a lone time yet. Metropolitan Board '■ of Works, London, were informed by Mather and Piatt their filter nnsnitablo alnmitrium treatment and obtained permission and have just replaced by rotating single sow cleaning type requiring 30 efleetive horse power.
