The Department of Agriculture has arrangnd a stall r n the Showgrounds, where it's nffioers m»v nonsnlted «nd 'where asricultnral literntnre is displaced. The monthly 'Journal of Agriculture is specially recommenced to the notice of farmers and all interested in rural industries It contains an abundance of valuable information of a scientific and practioal "ntnre contributed by tlio experts of the Department, and teaches the farmers how to double the prndnotive power of his holding. It is a piactical gnide to every man on t h e land, and nn agriculturist can afford »n be without it. An officer is in sttfiidnnce reoeiving orders for this nublicatinn, the annual subscription to which is the nominal amount of 2s 6d. As advertised in another column,' eight yearling and two vear pedigree bulls from the'Weraroa State Farm will be sold on the grounds at 10 a.m. to-morrow (Friday) bv Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., and this is a rare opportunity for dairv men to secure sires of the famous Holstein breed.
