MR NEWTON JONES AT FEILDING.
Mr Newton Jones, as .deputation from the Sunday School Union,'; London, is at present on a visit to Feilding under the auspices of the Feilding and district Sunday School Asso oiation (writes ;our Feildiug representative). gA social gathering took place at |St. Paul's Presbyterian Oborch last night, aud'we'coine addresses were delivered by |Mr Tolley on behalf of the Sunday School Association, and the Rev. Bndd on be* halfof|the Ministers' Asstciation. After tea Mr Jones held a .uicst interesting conference with Soi'day School (workers Mr Victor Jines saug a solo which was giearly appreciated, Rev. Olianpell accompanying. Various questions were very satisfactorily dealt wit!;. Mr Jams will Hold a "Children's Ohalk Talk" at 8.80 p.m. to-day to which children from nine years and over are invited. At b" p.m. he will deliver an ad'iress, "The book to nss aud how to ut e it" for S.B. workeis. On Thursday a similar talK to children willb'n held in the afteruotn, and he will deliver a lecture on "Rags" at 8 p.m.
