HINEMOA (Palmerator.) 4 v. HINEMOIi (Wellington) 1. . The ladies match Hinemoa (Palm erstonN.) v. Hinemoa'(Wellington) was played yesterday at the High School, before a large and enthusiasm tio onnoourse of spectators. The local team proved superior, though playing one short, winning by 4 to 1. In the first half the local team attacked strongly and compiled 8 goals. But in the sscond half the Wellington team rallied, and made a muoh|betfc2i' showing. The looal forwards are a very fast taain and the backs quick and accurate. The goalkeeper made a couple of remarkable saves. The scorers for the winners were Misses Oolliugwood (2), Hodder and Wilson one each. an<i for the losers Miss MoDonald. The piok of the looal team were Misses Bason, Seeker, Ooppeland, Wilson and Oollingwood and of the visitors Misses Stairmond (2), Oook, MoDonald. and Bramley. Mr W, Crump made a most efficient referee. Messrs Eerslake and Webb were linesmen.
