From Our Own Correspondent. Wednesday. A meeting of the Committee of the Paluatua-AKitio Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held in the offioe of tho socretary last evening for the purpose of winding rrp matters in connection with the recent show. There was a largo attendance aud the President (Mr J. C. Cooper) occupied tho chair. A roagh balance sheet submitted by the secretary disclosed the fact that the fiuances were in a very healthy condition, much better than was generally anticipated. A .bonus of £2 2s was voted to tho honorary assistant secretary (Mr W, Eccleion), aud a sum of £2 was handed to the Pahiatua District Band iu recognition of their gratuitous services on • Show day. The various judges-Messrs S, R, Lancaster, W. McKeuzie, A. G. Palmer and J, Macara—wroto generously refusiug to accept any money for expenses iuourrod by them in connection with their visit to Pahiatua, The Secretary was instructed to write conveying to them tho best thanks of the' Association. It was resolved that a general mooting of the members be held on tho 3rd May. Accounts totalling £21319 sod wore passed for payment aud ; the meeting adjourned,
