At the sale of the Allendale farm trotting stook Grattau Bells brought 500 guineas, Messrs Clare and McKinney being the purchasers. Mr Piper, for New Zealand, paid 275 guineas for Grattan Chimes, ana Mr Matthews, of New Zealand, 185 guineas for Grattan Abbey.
