ANOTHER WANGANUI OUTRAGE
ATTEMPT TO BLOW UP UPOKONGARO HOTEL. (Press Association} Waugauui, Yesterday. An attempt was made to destroy the Upokongaru (batter kuowu as "KennedyV) Hotel last night, geliguite being exploded on tlie roadway in front of the building. Evory window was smashed, bqc otherwise no damage was done Tlie explosion was heard a mile away. The police suspect that the outrage was committed by a Mexican named Laurent who is suppn ed to have committed suioido iu tlio river, his ooat and vest being found noar the ferry boat on the river bauk opposite the hotel. . , Tlie police are now dragging for the body.
