ADDINGTON STOCK SALE,

(Pre&s Association), Ohristohnroh, Yesterday. At the Addington yards to-day there wore fairly large entries of Btock, and a good attendance. Fat oattle Bold at about last week's rates. Store sheep and fat lambs were easier and fat sheep sold at still lower prices Figs sold well at late rates, and there was a rather dull demand for store oattle. The entry for store sheep was the largest for this Beason, about 3000 being yarded, bat the quality as a whole was only moderate,, there being a number of North Island and Chatham Islands sheep among the lines of wethers and ewes. There was a large entry of lambs, and they were mostly light and inferior Borts. The demand for all olHßßes was easier, and prioeß showed a reduotion on late rates. Forward rape lambs were the only sorts that maintained anything like late values, while there was a considerable drop in low-conditioued and travel-staiujd lambs. Ewes of all ages also suffered in prioe, even young ewes not being in suoli strong demand as of late. Wethers were dull of sale, though there were some good lines on offer, and soveral lines were passed. The entry of fat sheep was not quite so large as that of last weeif, but the supply was more than sufficient for the butohers. It was less noticeable in wethers than iu ewes, but a few lots of the former were oheap enough for graziers to pnrohase. Aged and inferior ewes showed the largest rednotion in values, and (he lowest prices for the season were realised.'

THE TALLOW SALES. (Press Association.—By Telegraph Copyright). London, Yeterday. At the tallow sales 850 caßks were offered and 650 sold. Prices were unchanged.
