Per Press Association. | Wellington, Last Night. At the Harbour Board meeting to-day there was considerable discussion regarding negotiations that have been conducted in regard to the patent slip and its possible acquisition by the Harbour Board. The matter was brought to a head by the chairHon. T. K. It was urged by members that the board would probably do better by private negotiation Mr Mac Donald therefore withdrew his motion and private negotiations will continue.
