TWO SAILOR BOYS.
On the express for Wellington yesterday were a couple of boys in the sailor jumpers and lettered caps of the "Amokura." They, watched jealously over some bundles which represented their luggage and which they had been very careful to keep in their sight in the carriage. And their tanned faces and wind-browned hands testified to participation in the Southern cruise of the Government training ship. To a representative of the "Manawatu Times" they said that they had been to their homes in the Far k North of Auckland, and were now hurrying baok to jcin\heir ship for a cruise in the direction whence they had just come, to which theyjooked forward with keen anticipation. They spoke well of their ship and their life on it, and it was apparent that in the case of these two young colonists, as in the case of others we have known, the experiment of the Amokara is proving a success.
