A TOUGH PROPOSITION
Press Association. • Napier, Last Night. A poll of ratepayers was taken today to decided the question of raisin! a loan of £6000 for the purpose Ot erecting saltwater baths on the beach fronting the town, and the proposal was carried by 25 votes, the figures being: For the proposal 252, against the proposal 2<!7. Very little interest was taken in the poll.
