On 21st December race trains will leave Palmerston at 10.48 a.m , 11.10 a.m., and 11.38 a.iu., returning from Racecourse at 4.50 p.m., 5.30 p.m., and 5.40 p.m. The usual 5.5 r>.m, tvain will be delayed to leave Palmerston at 5.25 p.m., and will run via Racecourse to Wellington (W. &M. Co.). The usual 9 a.m. train from Foxton and 6.40 a.m. from Pftekrtkariki will run via Racecourse to Palmerston. FARES :— Palmerston to Racecourse. 2s 6d, irrespective of class, including admission to Course, avail* able for day of issue only. Single fare, Racecourse to Palmerston, 9d. ' On 26th December special train will leave Foxton 8.5 a.m., Palmerston 9.50 a.m. for Feilding, returning from Feilding 5,30 p.m. for Palmerston and Foxton. RACES AT PALMERSTON NORTH. On 26th December special train will leave Wanganui 6.30 a.m. for Palmerston, returning from Palmerston 6.20 p.m. for Wanganui and Taihape. The usual 11.40 a.m. train Palmerston to Wellington (W. <& M. Co.) and the usual 3.55 p.m. train Longburn to Palmerston will not run. The usual 5.35 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Palmerston 6.20 p.m. for Foxton. The usual 5.10 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Palmerston at 7.10 p.m. for Dannevirke. Special train from Masterton will arrive Palmerston 10.42 a.m., returning from Palmerston at 6.50 jp,m. for Woodville and Masterton. Race trains will leave Palmerston 10.40 a.m., 11.0 a.m., 11.18 a.m., and IL3B a.m., returning from Racecourse at 4,50 p,m., 5.30 p.m.. 5.40 p.m., and 6,0 p.m. for Palmerston. On 27th December the usual 5.35 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Palmerston 6.0 p.m. for Foxton. Special train will leave Feilding 9.15 a.m. for Palmerston. The usual 5.10 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Palmerston at 6.50 p.m. for Dannevirke and Masterton. Special train will leave Palmerston at 6.20 p.m. for Wanganui and Taihape. Race trains will leave Palmerston 10.48 a.m., 11.10 a.m., and H. 38 a.m. for Racecourse, returning from Racecourse 4.50 p.m., 5.30 p.m., and 5.40 p.m. for Palmerston. On 26th and 27th December the usual 4.50 p.m. train Palmerston to Wanganui will be delayed to leave Palmerston at 5.30 p.m. for Wanganui and Taihape. The usual 5.5 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Palmerston at 5.25 p.m., and will run via Racecourse to Wellington (W. & M. Co.). The usual 9.0 a.m. train from Foxton on 26th and 27th December, the 6.35 a.m. train from Wellington (W. <fe M. Co.) on 26th December, and the 6.40 a.m train from Paikakariki on 27th December will run to Palmerston via Racecourse. FARES:—Palmerston to Racecourse, 2s 6d, irrespective of class, including admission to Course, available for day of issue only. Single fare, Racecourse to Palmerston, 9d. RACES AT ASHHURST. On 28th December special trains will leave Palmerston 9.40 and 11 a.m. for Ashhurst, returning from Ashhuret 6.7 p.m. for Palmerston, and 6.25 p.m. for Palmerston, Wanganui, and Foxtoir. Excursion tickets from Palmerston and Terrace End to Ashhurst, available only by above train, first class 3s, second class 2s 6d, including .admission to Course. The 11 a.m. special from Palmerston will not stop at Whakaronija. The usual 5.10 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Palmerston at 5.35 p.m., Ashhurst 6.17 p.m. for Dannevirke and Masterton. Special train, connecting with 6.25 p.m. train from Ashhurst, will leave Palmerston 7.10 p.m. for Wanganui. For further particulars see posters. BY ORDER.
