Monte Carlo, December 4. Medical evidence at the Goolds , trial was to the effect that Goold was a degenerate not thoroughly responsible for his actions. The evidence also shows that more than one person participated in the murder. Washington, December 4. President Roosevelt proposes to repeal the duty on wood pulp. Many halfpenny newspapers are increasing their price owing to shortage of pulp.
