Ottawa, December 1. The Franco-Canadian commercial treaty gives Canada the French minimum tariff on a wide range of articles, and France obtains the intermediate tariff for her chief exports to the Dominion.
[Canada has three tariffs, a preferential tariff of 33K per cent with Britain, an intermediate tariff giving slight preference to countries which give her favourable treatment, and a high tariff against the rest of the world. ]
