All that is asked is that letters be terse and to the point] THE STATE OF DENMARK. Sir,—Would Mr P. C. Freetli kindly increase our obligations to himself "by giving us some idea of the practical people of Denmark? Which of the two, dominates them—The evolution of the cow or thp horse? . Also, what proportion of Racing Clubs are there to the dairy schools and experimental farms? Mr Freeth does not know how intensely interesting his communications are to newspaper readers in the district.—l am, etc.,
