Suicide of Accused.
Bradshaw, charged with the attempted murder of his uncle at Opuawlianga, was missed from the steamer Aupouri while being brought to Auckland by a constable, and presumably was drowned. Lateb. Bradshaw was under the charge of Constabl' Wade. The Aupouri had a rough trip from Whaugaroi, and ;tt about G o'clock this morning Brnushaw said'he wanted to go on deck for a certain purpose, and the coustable accompanied him. Brad.shaw suddenly darted behind the deck houses and was not seen afterwards.
