A DAIRY SCHOOL.
Levin Prefers Her Claim, No Promise Given. (For Press Association.) Wellington, Last Night. This aftornoon a deputation of Levin residents waited upon tho Minister for to urge Levin's claims as a site for a dairy sohool to be established by tho Government. Emphasis was laid on the faot that the State Farm is situated at Lovin.
In reply Mr McJSab stated that tho establishment of a dairy school had hern f'eely di-enssed, but notbirg bad ben done, nr.il i) c .u!d not therefore bo bound by any previous promises on the subject. All he could say was that the best site from tho point of view of the v.bo'c colony would be chosen. It would no* be pc.B-ible to duplicate the insti:u:i'.ii for runny voar?, as the school would b-' established on a vrrv largo scalf, liko tho«e ?ot up in Canada and othor Jargu dairying countries.
