The bed market is steady at B§d and 2-|I for hind Bnd forequarters respectively. Choice N.Z butter is steady at 112s and 114) per owt. Danish is quiet at 1225. Canadian makeß"ar~e quoted at Ills per owt. The 'cheese market is firm and a good demand is experienced. Canadian is quoted at 62s per cwt. There are no stocks of New Zealand on hand,

The hemp market is quiet but steady. Wellington, on spot, is quoted at j£33 10s to £84 per ton. The same quotation replies to October-December shipments.
