Auckland^ Easti Night. The New Zealand Amateur Goff Championship wsa decided to day. The r«=f ults of the previous rounds had kit Arthur Duncan, of Wellington (who held the championship; of New! ZealWd for three years prior, to 1904), to playoff the final with his younger brother Konneth/ The final consisted of two rounds 6118 holes and after a fairly interesting game the championship was again won by Arthur Duncan, the game being decide* at too 32nd hole,, when the ex champion, was flvo lip and lour" to play. The day was cold, and showery with, a somewhatl trying wind, and in the circumxtanoeß it is not surprising that the pUy wm hardly up to New Zealand championship form.
