Half-Yearly Accumulation?
Press Association.—Copyright. Eeceived April 28,10.30 p.m. Mklboukne, Last Night. At the annual meeting of the Colonial Bank of Australasia the profits for the half-year were shown to be £19,320. A dividend of five per cent was declared, und £10,000 transferred to tho reserve, as well as J63435 carried forward. The directors' report regretted that notwithstanding the large withdrawals of money io Britain, funds collecting in the financial institutions of the CommonWealth are showing a lack of enterprise which characterised the earlier annals of (be colonies.
