Invebcargilli, Last Night. There were plenty of buyers and a large attendance of those interested at the wool sales to-day, at which 5113 bales were offered. One-third was passed at auction, but there were numerous private deals, vendors realising that they could not get more by holding. There was a drop of Id to 2 J all round. The merino offered was not high-class, and'the prices were lower by £d. Halfbred was l£d down, the top price being lOd. Super crossbred brought up to IOJd, as against 12£ dat the January sale; strong do lOd against 12^d; good to medium merino brought lOd to 9£d; inferior 9d to 8d; halfbred super lOd to 9£d; good 9£d to 8f a; inferior B£a to 8d; fine crossbred IOJd to lOd; medium 9fd to 9d ; inferior Bfd to 8d; strong do super lOd to 9d; medium 8f dtoßd ; inferior 7^d to 6d. The bulk went to America and France. But for the local buyers prices would have been still lower.
