Ashhurst-Pohangina Club.

The annual balance sheet of the Ash-hurjJL-Pohangina Eacing Club shows the net profit of the year to be £415. The receipts showed an increase of JE225 on last year, and the last meeting was said to be the most successful ever held. The membership list stood at 115. The election of officers and stewards for the ensuing year resulted as follows :—President, Mr P. Hanlon; vicepresidents, Messrs T. Gardiner and T. Grammar; hon. treasurer, Mr J. H. Paton ; stewards, Messrs P. Hanlon, F. Roberts, T. Gardiner, W. Dellow, T. Grammer, H. Cornford, Dr Graham, E. Sanders, J. H. Paton, P. Kerrigan, T. Nicoll, and H. Fraser.

The secretary was voted a bonus of £10, and Mr H. Hart was voted three guineas in recognition of his past services as dark of the course.
