CAMPBELL STREET SCHOLARS.

Annual Concert.

The seating accommodation of the Theatre Royal was taxed to its utmost last evening, when the annual concert of the Campbell-street School was held. The programme submitted was a capital one, and arranged so as to interest all ; and in this connection a word of praise is due to the teachers, especially Messrs Watson and Warden, for the excellence of the entertainment, The: first portion of the programme was given to numerous action and comic songs, intermingled with dumb-bell exercises and reoitations by the juniors, who all received their fair share of applause. The second part was opened with a pianoforte selection by Miss Amy Goldfinch, which was nicely executed. This was followed by a capital piano and violin duet by the little Gelhors. The song, "Hello, Central I" by Miss Violet Tasker, accompanied by a full chorus, and the recitation_ "Barbara Frietchie," by Miss Louisa Chapman, were well received; also the part songs, " Peal of Bells" and " Hark! the Boatman Calling," by the seniors.
