Mr Kenneth Duncan's marriage to Miss Rawson.of Wellington, has been postponed owing to the former's illness. The many Wanganui friends of Mr D. Miller, late chief clerk at the Wanganui Post Office, will be shocked and grieved to learn of his death, which occurred at Christchurch on Sunday morning. The deceased gentleman, who, during the long period in which he was stationed in Wanganui proved himself an obliging and efficient officer, had only recently been removed to Christchurch. It seems that he had been suffering for some time from heart disease.—Herald.
