raged.
Slaughter of Prisoners.
Received August 25, 10.19 p.m. Constantinople, Yesterday. The telegraph line between the city of Adrianople and the eastern districts has bean cut.
A revolution in the whole Vilayet has been proclaimed, and 800 refugees, including the Governor of Imeda.and a number of officials, and many Moslems, Vasiliks, and 150 Greeks hays arrived at tie entrance to the Bosphorus. Harrowing accounts are given of the devastation caused by bands armed with rifle* and bearing uniforms.
The attack on Imada and other villages coincided with the arrival of the Russian squadron.
Consular advices state that the Turks destroyed the village of Armenstad, outraging women and massacring every-' body.
The guards, conducting 80 Kenushevo revolutionists, bound together, towards Monastir, suddenly slaughtered them.
