SPINAL WEAKNESS.
DR WILLIAMS' PINK PILLS CURE AN EXTRAORDINARY CASE IN WELLINGTON.

Patient's name: Miss Maud Copland. 'Age : 20. Address :14 Hankcy Street, Wellington. History of case: Four years Miss Copland felt pain down oach side of stomach and arms. Thought it was caused "by bending ovor tabic reading. Pain increased so, much that she was taken to Wellington hospital. Com- < plaint was here diagnosed as pleurisy. She was given medicine and a plaster. Pain did not abate. Shortly after she visited her father in Auckland. Pain greatly increased and she began to lose power of using her legs and feet. Auckland doctor advised removal to Auckland Hospital. Doctors here said she said spinal curvature and that an operation was necessary. If it were not successful, she was told that she would be crippled for life. Mother consented to operation, but doctors finally decided^ she was too weak. Doctors then used an extension which was placed on beel with weight over the end. This treatment was used for six months. Ten months in Auckland Hospital altogether. Doctors again advised operation saying that otherwise the girl would never walk again. Miss Copland was carried from Hospital, taken in cab from boat, and when boat reached Wellington was convoyed by cab to 14 Hankey St., Wellington. Patient gradually declined. All power was gone>-froni lower part of body. Could not stand rip without being held or propped up. Feet and lower part of legs quite cold. Seemed to be crippled for life. As Dr. Williams' Pink Pills had cured patient's brother-in-law of injury to the spino he advised her to try them. She eats splendidly and sleeps'sfcundly, and declares herself perfectly cured of spinal curvature by Dr Williams' Pink Pills. Recently she called in at Wellington office of Dr AVilliams' Medicine Co. to tender thanks for her wonderful restoration, and to give particulars for publication.
