Damage by Floods.
Per Press Association. Nelson,-Monday. The English cricketers were driven into the country to-day, and partook of Afternoon tea at Bishopdale. The match Commences to-morrow. The wicket is Btill wet after Sunday's rain. Some damage was done to the cut jpfain on Sunday night, many of the Streams being flooded by the heavy Sain, and some stooks were washed away from the low-lying lands. . A cottage occupied by Mrs Berry was destroyed by fire this evening.
