Damage by Floods.

Per Press Association. Nelson,-Monday. The English cricketers were driven into the country to-day, and partook of Afternoon tea at Bishopdale. The match Commences to-morrow. Some damage was done to the cut jpfain on Sunday night, many of the Streams being flooded by the heavy Sain, and some stooks were washed away from the low-lying lands. . A cottage occupied by Mrs Berry was destroyed by fire this evening.
