TTT7HBEEAS the land mentioned in'the » ¥ Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under" The Public Works Act, 1894," for a certain work, to wit, for the purpose of a road through part of section 362, Block XIV., Kairanga Survey District: And whereits an agreement has been entered into by the Council of the County j of Kairanga, In terms of section 26 of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereafter set forth : And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act: Now, therefore, I, XJchter John Mark, Earl of Eanfurly, the Governor of the colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by " The Public Works Act, 1894," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the publication hereot in the New Zealand Gazette the land meiiv tioned in the schedule hereto is b-yicby takun for the purpose of a road. .SCHEDULE. !
