Press Association. Auckland, Wednesday. At Waihi to-day, an employee at the Waihi Goldmining Co.'s battery had three fingers severed from one -of his hands. Five minutes later a companion engaged in similar work mot with precisely the same accident. Mangaweka, Wednesday. A lad, five years of age, son of Mr Mourland, of Okingaiti, was drowned by falling down a well. A four-year-old son of Mr Fegan, of TemoeL.au, was crushed to death by the wheel of a wool wagon passing over him. Dunedin, Wednesday. Eichard Daniels, 6ii old man, was found dead in his hut on Pine Hill, where he lived alone. He steadfastly declined to go into the Hospital.
